The Problem with Us
Genesis 11:1-9
Background:
The book of Genesis was written by the hand of Moses, the Lawgiver and is part of a five-book collection known as the Pentateuch (which means five books). The word Genesis means beginnings and in it we can find answers to many different beliefs and false doctrines in the book of Genesis.
The Problem with us is that we........
1. United for the Wrong Reason (vs 1-4):
2. Works With Out God Will Not Work (vs 3-4):
3. God Will Not Bless A Mess (vs 5-9):
God saw what the people were doing and realized that
their motives wre not right. They were in a mess and he was not going to bless their human and selfish efforts. As a result of this, he scattered them abroad and confound their language, that they would not be able to communicate with each other. The place was called "Babel" or confusion and that's what happened to them.

Don't Let Your Condition Dictate Your Destiny!
Ruth 1:1-20 |
Points: Beloved in order for us not to Let Your Condition Dictate Your Destiny, We have to understand.....
1. The Condition of Disappointment (verse 3).
2. The Condition of Being Distraught (verse 5).
3. The Condition of Contentment (verse 20).
In Genesis 17:5-6 we find, "Neither shall they name any more be called Abram: but thy name shall be called Abraham; for a father of man nations have I made thee. 6. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come of thee."
- When it looks like your condition has gotten bad, Jesus has a message for you in John 14:1: Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God believe also in me!
- When it looks like your condition feels like that of Moab, Jesus has a message for you in Romans 8:28: And we know that all things works together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
- When it looks like your condition has no way out, Jesus has a message for you John 14:6: I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.
- When it looks like you condition has a grip on you, Jesus has a message for you John 8:36: If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

"Chill Out, God Is In Control"
Jeremiah 29: 11-14 |
Introduction: In this fast-paced, high tech society we live in, things around us can easily get out of control. There are things we just don't have any control over and can't seem to get our arms around them. Just when it looks like we've got it just the way we want it, somehow it seems to just slip through our fingers. By definitiion , the word "control" means, "To exercise authoritative or dominating influence over; direct. To adjust to a requirement; regulate."
Points:
1. God Knows Who You Are (verse 1).
2. God Is Waiting To Hear From You (verse 2).
3. God Will Work It Out (verse 14).
